We know that finding time to work out is nearly impossible! Allow our Families in Training (FIT) program to get you back into a workout routine. During this 55 minute class, you will get a great workout WITH your child as you experience full-body toning that focuses on rebuilding strength, improving cardiovascular fitness, and enhancing flexibility. In addition to using resistance bands, dumbbells, kettle bells, and more, you’ll learn how to use your child’s body weight and your own to get the body that you are looking to achieve in 2014! Worried your child won’t sit still? No fear, we like the challenge! Areas of focus: core, hips, arms, glutes, legs and CONFIDENCE!

Your body is sure to be sore from the physical workout, but we will also be striving to put your MIND at EASE! While getting fit with your child, receive professional parenting advice from Amy Yontef, Owner of Family Strength Coaching. Amy will be on-hand each session to facilitate discussions about parenting topics that include everything from stress management to finding “me time”. Bring your own questions and ideas for discussions, too.

Meet Your FIT Coaches
David Yontefwas born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. He moved to PA to pursue a doctoral degree at Temple University in Kinesiology. He graduated from the University of Arizona in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology and has been certified as a personal trainer for 16 years, training individual clients, small-groups, and classes.
David obtained a Master’s Degree from Argosy University of Phoenix, Arizona in 2003 in Sport and Exercise Psychology. He has worked with a very diverse population ranging from children to seniors, professional athletes to rehab patients. David is currently certified and affiliated with; NSCA as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Spinning Instructor, USA Weightlifting, and Crossfit Level 1.
He currently resides in Lafayette Hill with his wife Amy and two children.
Amy Yontef, Owner of Family Strength Coaching, has been working professionally with children and families for over 15 years. Amy believes that there isn’t one solution for everyone. Instead, the best way to resolve an issue is with a unique, individualized plan that takes into account such factors as the family’s schedule, lifestyle, and personality. Amy has a calming presence and listens carefully to offer user-friendly coaching tools to help improve happiness in a household. Amy received her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Arizona in Family Studies and Human Development and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Argosy University. Amy met her husband, David, in Tucson, Arizona and moved to Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania in 2003.
As a parent herself, Amy understands the challenges that families face today and the need for strengthening relationships. Amy trained at World Coach Institute as a youth, parent, and family life coach. She also teaches at World Coach Institute their professional coaching foundation courses. She is a member of the International Coaching Federation.
